Award Winning Independent Films

Young Leaders Film Festival™ introduces 14 to 18 year old students to a carefully vetted selection of award winning independent films, sourced from Sundance and other leading showcases.  The festival features five feature films, a variety of shorts, expert speakers, and student participation.

Films are selected for their ability to appeal to and challenge students interested in leadership. The Festival features a range of films whose themes ignite personal growth, social action, and positive change.

Young Leaders Film Festival is produced by Moms with Issues®, a private partnership of three San Diego women Kathryn Brinton, Pat Hughes, and Carol Tager.
